Are you wondering what's up with the big "For Lease" sign in the front window of Overkill?
 
After much thought and passionate debate, we have decided it’s time to begin the next chapter for Overkill and focus our energy on a new direction for our brand. On January 1st we’ll be closing the Beach shop and running things out of our new headquarters at 2161 Midland Avenue, where we have offices and a giant retail store. This change is just one of the many new moves we’re making. Earlier this year we formed a new partnership with Canuck Stuff - Canada's Volleyball Source. The biggest volleyball uniform, merchandise and equipment distribution company in Canada, Canuck can help our brand flourish. When we combine our design capabilities with their significant retail, on-line sales, fulfillment and distribution channels, it will be an unstoppable sport clothing force. We’ve already seen success with the signing of a 4 year contract with Volleyball Canada to be their official merchandise sponsors and we are continuing to do clothing for the Ontario Hockey Federation, the Ontario Lacrosse Association and numerous other great groups and events.
 
So many have played a part in helping us get the Overkill brand where it is today.  We are very proud of our product mix, and when we started our journey, we were way ahead of our time in the lifestyle apparel scene. But times have changed and like the sports we support, competition is fierce.  Our neighbourhood is different than it was when we opened our shop, but the people of The Beach have been fantastic to us and we’ll continue to support our ‘hood' wherever we can.
